What You’ll Experience
We study forecasts days ahead and adjust the route on the fly using live aurora and cloud data. You enjoy the night; I handle the photography—camera work, composition and portraits of you under the Northern Lights when they appear.
You’ll join a small-group aurora hunt planned around clear skies.
We track forecasts days in advance and monitor the aurora in real time on location to catch short-term bursts. I handle the photography: camera setup, composition, and portraits of you under the Northern Lights when they appear.
We keep bookings flexible: if chances aren’t genuine, we reschedule when possible or cancel before departure with a 100% refund.
If we do go out and our professional camera can’t capture the aurora, you receive a money-back refund — we retain €50 per person to cover operational costs.
Included: Heated transport, hot drinks, tripod support (for creative shots), pro photos of you; optional: real-time video when activity allows.
How Aurora Photography Expedition with Video Works:
Duration: from 3 to 10 hr

Departure: any time between 16:00 - 22:00
Weather conditions and cloud coverage in Lapland can be unpredictable and may change rapidly within a single day. We continuously monitor regional forecasts and solar wind data throughout the day to determine the optimal time and location for departure.
Pick-up times are scheduled between 17:00 and 22:00. On the day of your tour, we will contact you via phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, LINE, or WeChat to provide important updates and your exact pick-up time. Therefore, it is essential to provide valid contact information.
We will begin by picking you up from your accommodation. Once in the vehicle, we’ll discuss the current conditions and inform you about our planned route and destination. After a brief orientation, we will drive away from city lights to a remote location with the highest chances of seeing the Northern Lights.
In the case of cloudy skies, we will relocate as needed to increase the chances of finding a clear window in the clouds. If the Northern Lights become visible, we will remain at that location and enjoy the show, rather than risk missing them by continuing to drive.
While waiting, you’ll be able to relax and take in the peaceful Arctic landscape with cookies and warm drink in hand. Once the auroras appear, we’ll begin capturing your portrait with the Northern Lights as a backdrop using professional photography equipment.
